Well, after being inactive for one year, I think it's time to officially (or more like it's obivious) say that I'm no longer taking part in the developing and guiding Eden. It was about time to say thanks to all the players & GMs here. I've had so many nice moment as player and as well as GM, not to mention the long nights on teamspeak I spent together with others discussing new stuff, new ideas, coding, developing... the friends I made, the raids, the arenas the battlegrounds and the quests, the events of Eden!
As currently it is, but not the first and probably not the last hard time we have in Eden's history, we always survived, we always managed to strengthen our numbers, no matter what happend (like provider shut down server, crash, hdd fault, hack, etc...) I'm happy that the server still runs, imagine, we are almost the same old as the game itself, it started in the early of 2005 and Eden were already existing in April. I think we made a great success and we never let the server to fall into the ultimate trap where many did - money -.
I don't want to make promises that I can't keep, but there is a possibility that I will check back ingame from time to time. In case anyone is wondering who I was ingame, well, now you may find out! At the moment I'm doing the last year of my university, abroad, in the Netherlands where NOT everything as so flat as people claim ;) , but still, the university doesn't leave me more freetime than before.
ps.: the forum goes on!
Tho my last exam for now is on next monday, until that im sure i wont take care of it, but afterwards i will move the forum to another place, so it will be back in 1,5 week approximately.
however these drops in service cant be predicted and is hard for staff to keep track of. (damn OS)
sorry for any innconvieniance in these tough times but be patient and PE will be back at full strength soon enough

Technically it is configured and tested on the new location, but fast internet connection will arrive a bit later today (US time), so we will keep you informed about the status, tho the good thing since it's tested, no data loss or corruption, and it's just waiting for the right net & new ip and ready to run again.

Among GMs, we decided it would be nice to change the rules a little and remove the "life-long" permban, as it helps nobody. Neither us, nor you (if youre affected).
To show that we're willing to be nice (uh, finally!), anyone who was banned can now request beeing unbanned 4 months after the account was banned.
But, don't bother to ask earlier!
Why 4 months? That should be enough time to grow up, to go outside, to finish another game or two, or to make another account and level that up ;)
We will, however, reserve the right to decide who can be unbanned, and who deserves to stay banned.
To request unban, send an email to

with your account name. A sentence about why you were banned would be helpful, in case the remarks in our database do not have enough information.
